ABOUT IT

Apart from design, one of my greatest passions is painting. Although it has points in common with graphic design, the fact of creating something physical and not digital has a special attraction for me.

In my initial works I opted more for figurative painting, to then evolve towards a more abstract one. In recent times, especially in my series "Vínculos" (see below) my main objective was to create an own language and universe, making a kind of geometric abstraction in a first moment, but where the elements that appear are figurative and the meaning is the same independently of the work.

Around the materials, although at the beginning I used from all kinds of them, from watercolors, oil painting, acrylic paint, in recent times it is the latest that I have adopted more regularly.

"VINCULOS" collection

My last series is called "Vínculos" (understood as "Bonds"). In this series I tried, with the creation of an own pictorical language and universe, to represent habitual situations which could happen on the streets of any city (although all of them are based in the city of Berlin). 

These works describes the relationships between people, and the bonds, of different nature, between them. These scenes always are shown in a urban scenario, being this clearly recognizable in some.
