HOW I DO
About my methodology
To my knowledge and skills of Visual and UX designer (+12 years of experience) I added, after several years working as a designer in a Conversion Rate Optimization or CRO (click to know more) team, several techniques and processes own by CRO to my Design Process.
This gathering has allowed me to grow exponentially as a designer, because I'm able to understand much better the potential design issues of the clients, as well the solutions, and have a better understanding and definition of the objectives, and the barriers, drivers and hooks, the motivations, the competitors, the users... That makes possible to go one step beyond in terms of precision, adequacy, and real needs.
So, unlike other designers, if its necessary for the project I'm able to apply techniques like Customer Journeys, Customer Personas, UX analysis, New flows, Competitive Analysis, Deep Research, etc. This deeper reach assures me and, above all, to my client, to reach the better outcome possible.
I found this article, called "UX + CRO=PROFIT" (click here), from viget.com, pretty interesting because explains how to take advantage about the gather work of both
As well, due my degree in sociology I'm able to create really strong User Voices and User Tests.
As said, all this is coupled with my capabilities in Visual Design (User Interface, illustration, look & feel, icon design, imagery, editorial design) as well with my capabilities in User Experience (UX analysis, Content Development, Wireframing, Prototyping & Testing) or in Visual Identity (logo, branding, etc.)
This Design Process, along my experience, gives me the knowledge and the capacity to execute one step beyond but, above all, is the need to learn, and always be willing to make changes to improve, what is behind the best results.
With all of this, along with the passion about my work, allows me create not only products very appealing and attractive and usable, but much better from the foundations.
I learnt several techniques and process own by CRO, and adopted them and added to my design skills (+10 years of experience in Visual Design and UX); this gathering has allowed me to grow exponentially as a designer, because I'm able to understand much better the potential design issues of the clients, as well the solutions; to have a better understanding of the context, the competitors, the objectives, and go one step beyond in terms of precision, adequacy and quality.

As said, a +10 years UX designer and Visual Designer gives me a bunch of skills and techniques that allows me execute pretty solid, but I think the most important thing is to have always the need to learn and growth. I think it is this quality that really makes it better, of course if it works together with the experience much better.
All of this bunch of techniques and skills, along with my passion and dedication allows me create not only products very appealing and attractive and usable, but better from the foundations.
After several years working as a member part of a CRO team, I adopted the best practices in this field and transfer them directly to my Design Process in order to create a better process. In this way, gathering my +10 years of experience of Visual Designer and UX with these CRO techniques allows understand pretty better the potential design issues of my clients and the solutions, and go one step beyond in terms of precision, adequacy and quality.
